Environment Variables & Secrets
Enterprise suite for managing environment variables. Generate, validate, and secure your configuration across Development, Staging, and Production.
Env Generator
Generate environment variable files for any framework with sensible defaults, groups, and comments.
Env Validator
Validate existing .env files to detect missing values, duplicates, unsafe variables, and best practice violations.
Environment Variable Encryptor
Securely generate AES/RSA keys, UUIDs, JWT secrets, and evaluate entropy of existing values locally.
Secrets Manager Config
Generate configuration policies and templates for AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, Vault, and Kubernetes Secrets.
Why use dedicated environment tools?
Environment variables are the backbone of application configuration. Hardcoding secrets, mismanaging .env files, or failing to validate configurations before deployment can lead to severe security vulnerabilities and downtime.
Security First
Detect hardcoded secrets and enforce least-privilege access policies for your cloud environments.
Validation & Health
Identify syntax errors, circular references, and missing variables before they crash your production servers.
Seamless Cloud Integration
Transition from local .env files to robust, enterprise-grade secrets managers like AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my secrets stored on your servers?
No. All generators, validators, and encryptors run entirely in your browser using local JavaScript. We do not store, log, or transmit any environment variables or secrets to our servers.
What is the difference between .env and Secrets Managers?
.env files are excellent for local development. However, for production, you should rely on secure Secrets Managers (like AWS KMS or Vault) which provide access policies, automatic rotation, and auditing.
